Just to let you know that the <b>Aftershaves</b> scent lasts longer when used in conjunction with the <b>Shaving Soaps</b>. <br />
The aftershaves do not contain ethyl alcohol <i>(a main ingredient of most perfumes and aftershaves, which literally strips and dries the skin, extremely caustic)</i> and so the scent does not appear to linger. It does<br />
…but, like with all scents, our senses become immune after a while, particularly with hydrosols which are the ‘safe’ form of essential oils and therefore not as strong, not as dense…and not <b>dangerous</b>.<br />
The primary purpose of the hydrosols is to interact with the skin’s chemistry and treat from within. The scent is the bonus. The <b>purpose</b> of an <i><b>after</b></i>shave is not neccessarily aroma, it’s primarily to ‘tone and tighten’ the skin, <i><b>after</b></i> shaving.<br />
When used in conjunction with the Shaving Soaps the Aftershave scent notes ‘adhere’ to the emollient and humectant bases and thus the scent lingers longer.<br />
